The deep pore cleanser is formulated to target all areas associated with pore congestion; achieving the elimination and prevention of acne: Exfoliation - Utilizing alpha and beta hydroxyl acids, the cleanser gently removes the excess skin cells accumulated within the epidermal layers; a major contributor to the congestion of pores. The elimination of excess dead skin cells, enables the complimentary ingredients/products to effectively penetrate and kill the bacteria generated within the deepest layers. Clarifying - Gen-X contains the essential deep clarifying botanicals (mainly salicylic acid), necessary for elimination of imbedded bacteria within the pores, and reducing the “P- acne” (Propionibacterium acnes); the cause of inflammation and multiplication of blemishes. Balancing/Prevention - Containing both sage and cucumber extracts, excellent for their calming and soothing properties, the reducing inflammation and controlling the overflow of sebum oil (a major culprit in breakouts). Finally by incorporating anti-oxidants A, C, & E, the cleanser will strengthen the cells and skin’s overall ability to ward off acne infection; the A, C, E combination also aids in the repair of damaged tissue cells (lesions, scars, and pock marks) brought upon from acne. |
